Dr. Marisa Rivera Lugo holds a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Latino Adolescents. She has over 25 years of experience in higher education and 15 years working with Latino families and their children in K-20 education. Dr. Rivera Lugo currently consults with Washington County, assisting in the development of programs that serve Latino families. She has taught online and has developed curriculum for fifteen graduate and undergraduate courses since 2004. Dr. Rivera Lugo is a notary public and an officiant. Her work is centered on improving educational outcomes for underserved populations and supporting family development in diverse communities, making her a valued leader in her field.
